This week Cubs are visiting Chesterfield museum Saint Mary’s Gate. Please turn up shortly before 6pm at the museum. Pickup 7:30pm from the museum. Bring some money for the shop. We will provide a badge for your camp fire blanket.

Hello,
The cub meeting will start at normal time at St Thomas’ Centre, but finish 15 minutes later at 19:45. The reason is there will be a joint session of camp fire songs with the Scouts from 19:15 to 19:45.
If you need to collect at normal time (19:30), this is not a problem, just make us aware.
The fire will be at the purpose made Fire Pit at the back of the Centre.
Sausages, Beans, Baked Potato and rolls will be provided by the group so do not bring anything.
The investiture of new cubs will take place at the beginning immediately after flag break.

On Friday 23rd September we will now meet at Somersall Park. Drop off in Somersall Car Park on Somersall Lane at 6pm. Collect 7:30pm.
There is no cycling, so no need to bring bikes.
Please bring wet weather gear, your kite if you have one (optional), and a torch if you can.
We are tracking, and doing games.
The Cub programme is updated to reflect this with a small map of where the carpark is.
Please spread the word.

Note that Friday 23rd September is no longer to be held at St Thomas’ but is now meeting at Somersall Park. See document.
