Scouts 11th May – DIY

This week we’re at the hall as usual doing some DIY, as with all DIY the most useful tool is usually a hammer, so if you have a hammer please bring it. Late finish 9.15pm. Please bring any summer camp money as it needs to be paid in full before the deadline (6th July). Please also have a look at the link in the post below this one.

Scouts 4th May – Wide Game @ Shillito Woods

Hi All,

This week we are having a wide game out up on the tops! Wrap up warm, bring a torch and wear good shoes. I’ll be there from 7pm for those scouts that have siblings in cubs/beavers, with the meeting starting at 7.30pm prompt and we will finish about 9pm. Click here for a map of where we are meeting.

Payment of subscriptions

We appreciate all payments to be paid promptly, it saves the group’s volunteers valuable time in following up non payment queries.

In the event of a postal reminder having to be sent out, because of the rise in the cost of stamps, this will be added to the outstanding monies owed.

If you have circumstances which cause you problems in doing so then approach your section leader, group scout leaders or the group treasurer – in confidence

28/4/2012 10:00 – 12:00 North Wingfield Climbing Wall in 1st North Wingfield Scout Hut. Holbrook Avenue, Off Dark Lane, North Wingfield.

This is an indoor climbing wall at the North Wingfiled Scout Hut. All equipment is provided and it is a great opportunity to have a go. Ropes and harnesses/helmets provided.

Scouts – 27th April A Night At The Races

Hi All,

This week we are supporting our local Explorer Scout Group, Helios ESU, at their race night event at the Winding Wheel. Tickets will cost £3.00 for Scouts and children and £5.00 for parents, the price includes entry and Pie and Peas. Doors open at 7.00pm and the first race will be at 7.30pm. So tell everyone about it and bring your friends and family for a night at the races. Don’t forget some money for betting and the bar, first rounds on you lot!! As this is a social event uniform is not necessary.
