Scout Activities 2018

Caving – March 2018 Scouts took part in exploring the caves on the south side of Matlock Bath (near the Bath Hotel).  Once again, a big thanks to the caving team who all helped make this such a great activity. Caving – Matlock Bath.   Indoor Camp & Conservation Weekend – February 2018 The Scouts enjoyed a full weekend of ‘indoor’ camping at the Peak District National Park’s Brunts Barn facility.  The weekend also included some conservation activities i.e. helping to clear an area of dead wood.  This meant chopping, cutting and burning things!  A big thanks to all the leaders and helpers that made the weekend possible. Scouts work steadily towards their Gold award through the activities they do each week, but they also have to plan and implement an expedition – see here for more details.
